In my opinion, the Journey offers the best cocktails in Passau. The cocktails are well mixed and are quick to prepare compared to other restaurants. If you have a special request, there are also recommendations or something can be mixed according to taste. We were there with 7 people for our birthday celebrations and made a reservation two weeks in advance and asked for a specific table. After we were assigned a different seat and asked, we received different statements from the service and the boss. Another group has already reserved. We said that the request was made over two weeks ago. It was then also mentioned that the safety distance of 1.5 m (which is understandable and not an issue) is not possible. Surprisingly, a short time later, 7 people are sitting at this table. Is not understandable for us. The colliery was of course a little higher for a stay of over 5 hours. It's a shame that you don't get a round of schnapps on the house here. Unfortunately, this can be seen in many restaurants and I would now toast as a general positive point. Small sums don't have to be a treat. The guests are very pleased with larger amounts. Otherwise, the service is very friendly and attentive (often clear empty glasses when serving). Even if something breaks, you stay friendly and take care of it immediately. Very nice. So all in all a recommendation for me ...

We went to Journey a few times during our stay in Passau and the cocktails were amazing every time. We loved them so much we wanted to do a cocktail course and Hubert organised a private class for us. He took the time to understand what we were interested in learning, and created a personalised and tailored experience for us. We experimented with molecular techniques, and learnt how to match different flavour profiles. Not only is he very friendly, but also extremely knowledgeable, experienced and creative. We highly recommend taking a class with him, or at least dropping by for a few drinks.

One of the most extensive cocktail lists I've ever come across. A 25 page menu with everything imaginable including A really cool batch of "forgotten flavours" from the 1800 and 1900s. My wife took a bit longer with the menu so I asked for a suggestion. I mentioned I liked rye and was surprised to receive a Rye Manhattan which was super tasty. I followed that up with something a bit sweeter and got a blueberry lavender mojito. I was pleasantly surprised that it included sprigs of fresh mint and lavender. A super fresh and delicious way to end the day. Really friendly staff were a huge plus given that isn't always the case in Germany. I would definitely recommend! Reasonable prices, great selection, cool ambiance and friendly service!

The Journey Bar is always worth a visit when we come to Passau. Hubert serves us the best cocktails, is always in a good mood and has implemented the Corona regulations excellently. See you soon. Beate + Michi

Delicious cocktails and great people

With all the restrictions and requirements that are consistently observed: after a short period of familiarization, you feel just as comfortable in the journey as before the lockdown. Nice that the Journey lights up the old town again in the evening. So go there, order Gimlet - and be thankful;) Thanks to Hubert and his team! Cheers.

Known as the best cocktailbar in passau. I ordered a negroni and they served it with a maraschino cherry instead of an orange slice. It's also quite pricey so - 1 star

Good, calm, cozy place to be with a friends. Rare place where DJ or or music volume wizard is not trying to impress you loudly with his musical taste (which usually in the frames of modern low level pop) and you can talk with your company.

The best cocktails in town - if you wanna try something exotic cocktailwise it is a must go. But for the normal stuff like beer and drinks it is also highly recommended. Just a very smooth and relaxing bar to have a nice evening with friends in the centre of passau
